Make your lamellar assembly easier with pre-cut straps that have the proper hole spacing and size already in place. You can stitch this strap into a row of lamellar with a little pre-planning. Extra holes should be drilled or punched into the last plate of the shoulder strap, so the lacing will have a firmer attachment. This strap set is laser cut from 7-8oz (0.125 in ~ 3 mm thick) vegetable tanned leather. The leather is then conditioned by soaking in neatsfoot oil for 24hours. Center bar solid brass buckles are attached to these 3/4 in straps with solid copper rivets.
