Make your lamellar assembly easier with pre-cut straps that have the proper hole spacing and size already in place. You can stitch this leather piece into a row of lamellar with a little pre-planning. This is for a non-buckled strap connection for the paldron. The “bottom” hole set is not utilized for A plates, only D plates. These pieces are laser cut from 7-8oz (0.125 in ~ 3 mm thick) vegetable tanned leather. The leather is then conditioned by soaking in neatsfoot oil for 24 hours to protect it from weathering and sweat.
